In analysing a statement, we are mindful of the language used to describe an event. A short piece of text can reveal much and can require lengthy analysis in order to glean as much information as possible from it.


Yesterday we posted how the speed of transmission affects the editing and phrasing processes which in turn influences the words and even the letters we use. One letter can change influence the outcome of the analysis.


We observed the following posted today as a leading British fashion and homeware retailer made an important announcement in re-introducing themselves noting customers had spoken and as a result, they had listened.


Just one letter can reveal much. in this example, it is today’s date!
